看起来测试期为7天,一共24个 1G/1G vSwap 的小鸡,要求你有足够的时间来折腾 CPU,没时间的就别去凑热闹了,机会让给别人吧
Greetings,
I am seeking a few people to beta test a new setup for an OpenVZ node. I've tried to run EL6 for OpenVZ host before, but it was a massive failure at the time. Now a few months have past and it is time to revisit the possibility of using vSwap so I am giving away 24 1gb with 1gb of vSwap OpenVz on a E3-1270 node. You can request any features normally offered with OpenVZ, but no cPanel/DirectAdmin will be offered, no additional IP's, I'm just looking for people that will abuse the CPU on this node and put it through the ringer. If the node rebooted, kernel panics, and other oddness, I want to hear about it, that is the point of a beta test.
If you don't feel you have the time to devote to beating on the offer, don't take the offer, let someone else who does have the time offer their help. Be aware I am looking for at least 7 days of uptime to consider the test a success. If successful, the node will be wiped and shipped to Los Angeles to be put in service as a KVM node, this is not my typical OpenVZ configuration, it is the typical KVM configuration.
This node is in Rock Hill, South Carolina so if you have connectivity issues with that location, again, avoid the offer so others can offer their help. There will be no backups taken of your VM's on this node, do not place data on this node if you do not wish to lose it, as I may format the node at any time without notice.
If you do feel you have the time to offer your help, please take part in this by visiting *** and request one. The order process is setup for manual verification, placing dummy info in for the hostname is fine, be respectful though. Any abuse that would normally be against the terms of service will also apply here, so don't think this is an open invitation to spam/port scan/be a dick.
Thanks
Tim
